OOTD | Baby Blue Leather

Shirt | Zara
Blazer | H&M
Skirt | Primark
Bag | Primark
Boots | River Island
Hat | Ebay

I picked up this baby blue leather skirt from Primark a month a so or go and forgot all about it until today. It's actually very well made and a great fit, well worth the £10 i think I spent! I paired it with a Zara shirt and my H&M blazer, keeping it all very monochromatic. I am so in love with this Primark backpack, I wore it to fashion weekend and think that it can totally make an outfit. This is a relatively dressy outfit for me - a bit different from my usual nikes and baggy tshirts!

Fashion | Birkenstocks - Yay or Nay?!

Love them or loathe them, Birkenstock style sandals have been appearing on everyone from the Olsen twins to Vogue editors, and i've got to admit - they're growing on me.

Birkenstock Arizona Two Strap - Office £49.95

Once I got past my initial reservations of associating them with grandparents and every suburban dad - I realised, they're really not that bad. A trend that is fashionable AND comfortable - what's not to love?! Designers ranging from Givenchy to Steve Madden have even released their own versions inspired by the classic sandal.

Steve Madden

With the average price tag for a pair of Birkenstocks coming in at just under £50, the high street has provided some affordable and equally as stylish options.

Topshop Slip Ons - £26
Topshop Chunky Slip Ons - £48

River Island Metallic Mules  - £26

My personal favourites that I will definitely be adding to my summer wardrobe are these gold metallic numbers from River Island - brought to my attention by uglyfaceofbeauty. They're super versatile and can be paired with skinny jeans, shorts or summer dresses to create an effortless, comfortable yet on trend look this season. I love the metallic shine, and think that it makes them look fun and youthful, more "me".

Love or Loathe - whats you're opinion on this summers Birkenstock revival?!

Beauty | Naked 3 Palette Dupe

The Urban Decay Naked Palettes are my holy grail of beauty products. I currently own Naked 1 and 2 - and was extremely interested in the 3rd one following all the hype after it's release. When I saw fashiontrain blog about this dupe, I had to try it out!

Naked 3 - TMart

I ordered this from American website, T Mart. It arrived in around 10 days and there was free worldwide shipping - for only paying £3.63 I really couldn't complain!

The shades are super similar to the original Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette bar a few, the only thing I would say is that they could be slightly more pigmented and are a little too soft/crumbly on application. (as you can see in the picture, one of the shades has actually crumbled away during the posting process). However, you do get what you pay for and on payday i'm looking forward to ordering the real thing.

Overall i'm impressed with this dupe and would definitely recommend buying it if you're looking to spend only a fraction of the price! You can pick it up from T-Mart here.

My old Naked 2 Palette -  can you tell it's my most used beauty item!
